The ASU has notified GRLC of the intention that all ASU members will be stopping work on Friday 2 July 2021 between 2:45 pm and 8:15 pm.
The ASU will be holding a BBQ outside the front of the GRLC main building.
This stop-work will be primarily at GRLC HQ.
The ASU bargaining group is calling on all members – whether you are working or rostered off – to come along and support this action!
ASU officials and ASU delegates had an enterprise agreement meeting last Thursday 24 June, GRLC did not bring any new offer to the table for the Union Delegates to consider.
GRLC management and Directors should be ashamed of themselves, after a 6-month delay of bargaining and a new CEO nothing has changed.
The ASU is concerned with members reporting continuing bullying and intimidation tactics by management because they are exercising a workplace right under the Fair Work Act.
Remember – only ASU members can take protected industrial action. If you know someone keen to support action for a fair deal they can join online at www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
If you have been bullied or intimidated, please contact one of your delegates or the ASU Member Contact Centre on 1300 855 570 or firstname.lastname@example.org for further assistance.
We’re stronger when we stand together.
