Recent ASU membership meetings endorsed lodging a Protected Action Ballot Order with Fair Work Commission. FWC approved our application, and the vote is now open!

This means you will receive a ballot paper from the AEC at your home address very soon.

You need to VOTE YES, so we can take action to put pressure on management to give you a decent pay increase.

It’s critical that you Vote Yes to make your voice heard and your vote count!

When it arrives, please fill out your ballot paper and return it to the AEC straight away.

Follow the voting instructions – make sure you:

  • Fill out the ballot paper
  • Put it in the declaration envelope and sign the declaration envelope
  • Put the declaration envelope inside the pre-paid envelope
  • Post your ballot straight away

If you haven’t received your postal vote pack by Friday 22 October please contact the AEC immediately for a replacement by emailing or by calling 02 9375 6366 or 03 9285 7111 and referencing the PAB Order Number B2021/922.

The activities on the ballot were compiled in consultation with ASU delegates across council. It’s critical that you Vote Yes so that members across council can use all the activities, even if they don’t apply to your particular work area.
