A union meeting has been called for Wednesday, the 9th of March at 5pm. This meeting is open, so both current ASU members and non-members are welcome to attend. The meeting is an opportunity to discuss the changes underway at the organisation and the potential effects on different workers. We will also highlight the benefits of a well-unionised workforce, especially in times of change, and invite non-members to join.
We are also looking for a couple of people to put their hand up to serve as a workplace delegate. Delegates play a vital role in workplaces and the union movement. Consider nominating yourself, or another co-worker, to be your workplace delegate by completing the delegate nomination form here. If you have any question about what it means to be a delegate, feel free to contact ASU Organiser, Corina Parkwell, 0409 258 943 cparkwell@asuvictas.com.au
Please forward this invitation to any co-workers you think might be interested!
