All Local Government Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) are invited to an online catch up to discuss common health and safety issues across our sector and plan our collective approach to improve the health and safety of all local government workers.

DATE: Tuesday 26 April
TIME: 4pm – 6pm
ZOOM LINK: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89191250374?pwd=MHRONEVPcTFZV3l0bkhQY2pHVjZwdz09

This online meeting will be the first step in restarting and reinvigorating the ASU OH&S Network. All local government HSRs are welcome to attend.

ASU Campaign Organiser, Clay O’Brien, will be providing members with a brief overview of our local government campaign: Uncap our Councils and talking about the impact of the Victorian Government’s Rate Capping policy that is hurting workers and the community. We will also be hearing from representatives from Maurice Blackburn Lawyers and Vision Super.

All workers are stronger and safer when we all work together, and only union members receive the benefits and support that union membership provides. If you are aware of any colleague who is not yet an ASU member, please encourage them to join the union today.
