You will have now received a copy of the Notice Employee Representational Rights (NERR) document from Central Highlands Council. This document is legally required to be issued on the commencement of bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement that covers your pay and conditions at work.

Bargaining is set to commence from September 16.

Prior to the onset of COVID-19 in early March we had almost finalised our Log of Claims in the lead up to bargaining.

The ASU will be holding meetings to discuss the Log of Claims and we encourage you to think about claims that you would like to see raised during the negotiations.

In relation to the NERR, If you wish to be represented by the ASU or be on the union bargaining delegation there is no requirement for you to nominate as a Bargaining Representative. Bargaining Representatives relate to those who wish to represent themselves or appoint an individual to represent them in negotiations.

We look forward to working with you to achieve a good outcome.
