You should have received information regarding how to cast your vote today. If you haven’t, please make sure you let one of the management team, a delegate or the ASU know.
The ASU and Yarra City Council have reached full in-principle agreement on the final EA document and a majority of ASU members have endorsed to vote yes on the offer, and it is now time for you to vote.
We now can confirm the following timeframes:
- The voting period will commence on Monday 1 November and close on Wednesday 10 November 2021. An independent voting company will handle the voting process and will send each eligible staff member an email with a link to vote. Staff can also vote via phone.
- Announce Voting Outcome Thursday 11 November 2021.
If 50% plus 1 of the staff that vote, vote yes, the agreement will then be sent to Fair Work for the certification process.
Back pays will then be processed.
