On Wednesday 16 February the below ASU members formally nominated to become an ASU delegate at Whitehorse City Council- Home and Community Care Services.

As a member of the ASU, you are invited to participate in a vote.
Please provide any objections or support for these nominations by emailing ASU Organiser Lorraine Di Pietrantonio on ldipietantonio@asuvictas.com.au by close of business Friday 4 March.
If there is a majority of support for the nomination, Leanne, Bronwyn, Michael and Sophie will be declared elected as an ASU Delegate.
What do delegates do?
ASU Delegates are the essential link between ASU members at each workplace and the broader union. Effective delegates can identify issues and provide information to officials of or union make sure that members’ rights and conditions are protected.
Delegates can provide representation, support and advice to members as well as build the union by providing information and raising awareness of union issues with staff. An ASU Delegate is someone who is your representative and is elected by you.
