Your ASU Delegates have been meeting with management since April to negotiate your Enterprise Agreement. Our last meeting with management was in June. The pressure had been on to reach agreement by the end of June and lose the following conditions;

  1. YOUR CHRISTMAS LEAVE – THOSE PRECIOUS 3 DAYS
  2. THEY ARE COMING AFTER YOUR PERSONAL LEAVE – COULD COST YOU UP TO 9 DAYS A YEAR
  3. THEY ALSO WANT TO PUT THEIR HAND IN YOUR POCKET AGAIN ON LONG SERVICE LEAVE (3-4 MORE DAYS)

CAFS has proposed unacceptable compromises all of which lead to cuts in your conditions and low wages.

Despite considerable work in negotiations and drafting, management has not responded with an updated draft agreement.

The ASU will be by your side but right now we need you to make the effort to contact one of the delegates listed below to talk about what is happening at CAFS.

We are passionate people caring deeply for the children, young people, and families we work with. They need us to be valued and supported to provide the support they need. Get involved now to support one another and maintain your rights at work.
