The ASU met with City of Port Phillip management last week for the second negotiation meeting. At the meeting the ANMF tabled their claims, the ASU responded to several claims that were administrative updates and wording changes that have no material impact on workers’ rights and entitlements and provided CoPP some further explanations on the ASU claims.

If you haven’t already seen CoPP’s claims, you can view their log of claims here.

Over the next week there are separate meetings to start negotiations starting with the Parking Enforcement and Community Care Schedule claims. We will provide members in those areas with updates on the progress of those negotiations once they have occurred. You can view the ASU log of claims here.

The ASU is only as strong as its members at the City of Port Phillip, the more members we have the stronger we are together. Talk to a colleague about the importance of union membership and ask them to join online at https://www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
