Council have confirmed that they have now made a definite decision to withdraw from Aged Care and Disability Services which is extremely disappointing not only for our members but for the clients and the community.
The ASU would like to say well done to affected members, all other members, their family, friends, and the community who put up a great fight to try and keep these valuable services within Council.
By now affected members would have been provided with some information about the next steps in the process and we would strongly encourage you to reach out to the ASU if you have any questions or concerns about your rights and entitlements so we can make sure the obligations of Council are being followed as per your enterprise agreement entitlements.
