Female and non-binary ASU members who are looking to develop their skills and knowledge, make an important contribution to the development and growth of the ASU and have more involvement in the broader union movement are invited to apply for a place in this year’s Anna Stewart Memorial Project.
The Anna Stewart Memorial Project runs over five days in November (2 – 6 November 2020). It culminates in attending the annual Unions Tasmania Women’s Conference, which is always an inspirational day with many motivating and insightful speakers and events.
The Project focuses on how unions work. It includes training in key aspects of union organising and growth with an emphasis on women’s involvement and why unions are so critical for women.
