As you would already be aware, Portable Long Service Leave (PLSL) became a reality on 1 July 2019 for most community sector workers.

ASU members have campaigned and fought for more than 25 years to make PLSL a reality and we are very proud to share it with you.

On the ASU will be holding open meetings about PLSL at Anglicare Southern Region on the 15 October at 60-64 Wells Street, Frankston and Western Region on the 16 October at  41 Somerville Road, Yarraville. These meetings are open to both members and non-members to provide information about the new PLSL legislation.

We will be discussing how the new scheme works, employer and employee requirements, how to access PLSL in the future and answer any questions you may have to make sure you get what you’re entitled to and fought for.
