Across our industries, many ASU members work differently due to the coronavirus. Social distancing, mask-wearing, and even working from home are some of the ways our work lives have changed.
Our primary concern is always to make sure we can advocate for the highest OHS protections for members of our union – everyone has a right to be safe at work.
When advocating for better government policies or discussing workplace safety issues with employers, we have been guided by ASU members in how we pursue this safety agenda.
ASU members want safety at work while still improving pay and conditions at work. Because of the dedication and experience of ASU delegates, ASU members in Victoria and Tasmania are seeing better pay and improved employment conditions.
