ASU Vic/Tas Tasmanian Delegates Conference – EOI now open

16 February 2024

It’s time to express your interest in attending the ASU Vic/Tas Tasmanian Delegates Conference on 26 & 27 March at the Aspect Tamar Valley Grindelwald.

ASU members work across local government, social and community services, water and energy, airlines, travel, public transport, info tech and clerical/administration.

The ASU protects, promotes and improves the working conditions and entitlements of our members.

This conference will focus on the vital role of skill-building in shaping a powerful and united union, recognising that every member's participation in campaigning and growth is integral to the union's success.

Through workshops and discussions, delegates will be briefed by leading thinkers in new Federal Workplace legislation and their impact. You will also come away equipped with the tools and strategies of collective strength. You will gain insights into how to navigate workplace changes, advocate for safety and fairness and work together on plans to address the local challenges we face in Tasmania.
