TasWater Enterprise Agreement

15 February 2024

TasWater has advised the ASU today that employees will be provided today with a Notice of Employee Representation Rights (NERR) to initiate the Enterprise Agreement (EA) bargaining process.

It appears that TasWater wants to divide your roles and workgroups into different enterprise agreements. The broad proposal is a General Agreement, a Mechanical & Electrical Agreement and an Operational Agreement together with the removal of the Seniors Agreement. There has been no consultation with the ASU concerning this decision to divide your roles into different EAs.

If you wish to be represented by the union or be on the union bargaining member delegation, there is no requirement for you to nominate or sign any forms from management as an Individual Bargaining Representative. You are represented by the ASU as a member by default. If you want to get involved in bargaining reach out to ASU Organiser, Karen Tantari on the below contact details.

The ASU will organise member meetings shortly across TasWater to discuss this decision and the upcoming bargaining. Please keep your eye out for further details.

Now more than ever it is important to stay united.

The ASU is by your side. Talk to a co-worker about the importance of union membership and ask them to join the ASU at https://www.asuvictas.com.au/VICTAS/Join
