ASU delegate election at Boroondara: nomination of William Kyrou

On February 29, 2024 ASU member William Kyrou formally nominated to become an ASU delegate at Boroondara City Council.

This nomination has been endorsed by ASU delegate Lena Giannakopoulos. As a member of the ASU, you are invited to participate in a vote. Please provide any objections or support for this nomination by emailing ASU organiser Emma Bagg by close of business March 8, 2024.

If there is majority support for the nomination, William Kyrou will be declared elected as an ASU delegate.

What do delegates do? ASU delegates are the essential link between ASU members at each workplace and the broader union. Effective delegates identify issues and work with officials of our union make sure members’ rights and conditions are protected. Delegates provide representation, support and advice to members. They talk to others about building the union by providing information and raising awareness of the union with staff. An ASU delegate is your representative - elected by you.
