Parks Vic workers protest at Boat Show

Parks Victoria staff protested against the state government's inadequate pay offer, funding and job cuts at the Boat Show last week by wearing t-shirts highlighting their concerns.

The ASU, CPSU & AWU have all notified further industrial action, including a ban on emergency call-outs and emergency response that was due to commence today.

Parks Victoria have applied to have the unions industrial action terminated and a hearing will be held in Fair Work Australia on JUly 11.

Unions have agreed to hold off on the new bans until after the July 11 hearing. The ASU will let members know of the outcome of the FWA hearing as soon as possible.
