Safer Workers, Better Care - Worker Health & Safety Forums 2011
The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare presents:
Safer Workers, Better Care
“Taking care of those who take care of others”
“Taking care of those who take care of others”
A series of free forums for workers in child, youth and family services will explore how poor health and safety outcomes are impacting the recruitment and retention of workers, as well as the sustainability of quality service delivery.
The sessions will offer insights from stakeholder feedback and a recent sector survey conducted as part of a two-and-a-half-year project funded by WorkSafe Victoria. The OHS Champion Project’s main objective is to improve worker health and safely outcomes in Out of Home Care and Family Services organisations.
“Sector workers most willing to put clients’ wellbeing ahead of their own safety.”
